How did I not know that bodega released a new album? 🤦🏽♀️ will definitely be listening to that later, and the No Name overview is spot on! Some of Jack White's finest work.
Jami, I can’t stop listening to (and watching videos of) Doechii. I have somehow been out of the loop onher, but no longer. Thanks for expanding my universe.
I love that St Vincent album, it’s a career best for my tastes and fell just outside my top 20. There’s not a bad song on there!
That Brittany Howard album has received a lot of love. It has some fantastic tracks but also some that really don’t do it for me. One of my ironclad AOTY parameters is that I have to like every song on an album - there can be no skippable tracks and this album has a few for me.
Because I don’t listen to much hip-hop, Kendrick Lamar and Doechii aren’t artists that would generally make my AOTY list. I hadn’t heard of Doechii before. I sampled the album and really enjoyed what I heard.
I did like the Beyonce album but it’s not something I’d go back to regularly. My biggest criticism is that it was too long for my taste. There’s no denying the talent she has, but queen B hasn’t made my AOTY list since 2016’s Lemonade.

I’m glad you saw this and hope you really dig their record!
